Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Kyle Cassel always had a mind for all things creative. From taking art classes as a young kid, to learning to play the drums at 10 years old, to diving into world of engineering and recording at 16, Kyle has always strived to do his best in all aspects of interest and beyond. His skills and experience is what sets him apart. Demanding the utmost quality for his clients, being one step ahead, and the relentless drive to solve any problems that may arise.

As former mainstay at Kaleidoscope Sound from 2009-2019, Kyle Cassel started as a very smart, dedicated, and talented intern. He quickly rose through the ranks, and assumed role of "Chief Engineer" around 2013. With developing Kaleidoscope's online presence, as well as, a key hand in wiring and tech work at the studio, he's always willing to step up to the plate and get the job done right.

Now turned "Freelance", he is in great demand due to his tremendous ear, accumulated techniques for capturing sounds, his impeccable work ethic, and transparent demeanor in the studio. A drummer and musician himself, he is also a great drum tech, and connoisseur of vintage drums and knowledge.

From years of experience playing in bands, as well as, helping bands, he is equally comfortable behind a camera, and has served as a videographer and photographer for many projects. His skills and eye for Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as Adobe Premiere video editing have served many clients well over the years.

In his tenure, he has had the opportunity to work with such diverse artists as Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, ETHEL, Spyro Gyra, Valerie Naranjo, The Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and Hudson Music.

In addition, he is also the CEO and designer for Midnight Skol Society.
